So...what was he shooting at?

As Emily mentioned in her post for today, she likes taking pictures....of me taking pictures.

So then you have to wonder, what was I shooting at?

As she said, it was just not a great day to go shooting. Brown deer on brown grass is not the stuff of Moose Peterson photography.

However, this did catch my eye.

  1. Well, using the rule of thirds ..... Really sometimes do we have to have "something to shoot at"? Sometimes it is just an attractive scene that looks nice and we want to capture it. I have a photo of a mountain steam and some rocks I took that my wife likes and she said to enter it in the local camera club contest. I did and the feedback included "What is the main point of the picture"? My wife still likes it. I have heard that men tend to look at the technical aspects of a picture whereas the ladies tend to look at the aesthetics
    (beauty) more.

Who cares what you were shooting at, it looks nice and if you like it, great.
