Project 365, Day 21. Wildlife!

Yeah, so it isn't some of the more majestic wildlife the state of Colorado has to offer...

Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, Elk, Black Bear, hell...even Bald Eagle during the right time of year. Even the occasional Moose.

Speaking of moose, my favorite wildlife photography happens to be Moose Peterson. He has amazing skills, tons of experience and as much knowledge about his subjects as most biologists.

But even he had to start somewhere, right?

Usually another component of wildlife photography is BIG glass. Lenses starting on the low end of 400mm and moving up from there.

Because, let's face it. Wildlife isn't just going to let you wander up to it and start snapping pictures.

Unless, it's dumb. Like rabbits.

So, I laid out flat in the grass (because by bunny thinking, this apparently makes you invisible) and racked my biggest lens out to 400mm and shot away.

Yeah, it's not Moose Peterson, but ya gotta start somewhere....

Remember to click on the picture a time or two to enlarge and get the full effect!

Until tomorrow...!
