After my post yesterday on the difficulty of wildlife photography, what happens?
I get a chance to do it again for the second day in a row. Nice.
Emily called me from the car to tell me to get my ass and camera a few blocks from home if I wanted to get shots of a Red Tailed Hawk that was sitting "pretty as a picture".
I figured he'd be gone by the time I got down there, perhaps after my subject from yesterday's picture....but nope, he was still there!
I probably could have gotten closer, but I remember the words of my favorite wildlife photographer, Moose Peterson, "Never frighten off wildlife just to get your shot."
Now...I just need Moose to give my wife a phone call. "You're husband needs a bigger lens."
He's a friend on Facebook.... Hmmm.....
